Artist Profile of INFAS ENTERTAINMENT

カタヤマ　ケンジ

1966年、東京に生まれる。
祖父の画家片山芳樹の影響を受け幼少時代より絵やファッションに興味を示し小学６年よりアイビーリーグのアメリカのトラッドに目覚める。
バンタンデザイン研究所ファションデザイン科を卒業後、色とデザインの斬新さに憧れ小西義之fice uomoに入社。常にデザインとオリジナルに興味を持ち２５歳でアメリカとオーストラリアに行き大都会と大自然と土地の広さから２年間現地にてファッション、カルチャーと絵を勉強する。

帰国後、イタリア、フランスへのアパレルバイヤーとして世界のコレクションを見る。同時にさまざまな作品を作り続けアトレ恵比寿ウィンドウディスプレイや大手デパートウィンドウ、装飾関係、エイベックス専属スタイリスト、ストリートカルチャーマガジンフリーペーパーGLESTYの編集長の経験を持つ。

昨年末独立し白金にアトリエ兼自宅を設ける。
現在もオリジナルを作り続け様々ブランドとのコラボレーションを実現。
アパレル「GHOST」（ゴースト）、スタイリスト、スプレイアートワーク、ディスプレイ、アートペインティングを手かげています。
趣味のサーフィンからサーフボード、スケートボード、スノーボード等にスプレーアートワーク。

現在家具にもアートペインティング作成中。
近年、海外へのアプローチとしてバリ（デウス）、バルセロナ、パリ、ニューヨークへの視野もいれて
活動中。

Kenji Katayama

It is subject to the influence of painter Yoshiki Katayama, a grandfather, and from the childhood age, interest is shown in a picture or a fashion and from the sixth grader in an elementary school, it wakes up to the trad of the United States of the Ivy League.

After graduating from a Vantan design research institute fashion design course, it yearns after the novelty of a color and a design and joins Yoshiyuki Konishi fice uomo.

It always goes for a design and original to the United States and Australia at the age of 25 with interest, and a spot describes a fashion, a culture, and a picture for two years from the width of a big city, Nature, and land.
After a homecoming, world collection is seen as an apparel buyer to Italy and France.
Are simultaneous,making various works is continued and it has experience of the Atre Ebisu window display, a major company department store window, ornament relations, a stylist under exclusive contract with Avex, and the chief editor of the street culture magazine free paper GLESTY.

It becomes independent at the end of last year, and establishes an atelier and house in Odaiba. Making original is continued and it is collaborating to various brands still now.
It is dealing with Apparel GHOST, a stylist, spray artwork, a display, and art painting.
Spray artwork is made a surfboard, a skateboard, a snowboard, etc. because his hobby is surfing.
Now, art painting is under creation also in furniture.
